Nonfat Dry Milk
(Skim Milk Powder)

Description     Nonfat Dry Milk is the product resulting from the removal of fat and water from milk and contains lactose, protein and minerals in the same relative proportions as in the fresh milk from which it was made. It contains not more than 5.0% moisture (by weight). The fat content is not more than 1.5% (by weight) unless otherwise indicated.

Packaging     Multiwall Kraft bags with polyethylene inner liner or other approved closed container, i.e., "tote bags", etc.

 

Storage     Product should be stored in a dry, cool, clean warehouse free of odors with a temperature below 80°F and relative humidity below 65%. Although product stored for one year is usually found to be satisfactory, we suggest that it not be stored for more than six months to assure fresh tasting product.
